The real Malaysia

Malaysia has so much to offer, it is almost difficult to find the treasure amongst all the gold. But let me tell you, I found my treasure; in KL's beautiful rainforest! Moving the experience from the urban concrete jungle to the into wild scenery of Malaysias green jungle. Rainforest hiking amid giant trees, sheltered under a green canopy and surrounded by thousands of forest plants and tropical animals elicits exaggerated feelings.

Upon seeing the jungle, Charles Darwin marveled at the "luxuriance of the vegetation" that "filled me with admiration."

Even Christopher Columbus decided that after discovering "trees beautiful and green, and different from ours" that he had found the Garden of Eden.

No wonder others have called these lofty forests "the apex of creation."

I really felt that exploring Malaysia through it´s heart, the rainforest, I saw the real and true Malaysia; lush green, tough but also soft and welcoming, with a hint of excitement and spice.
