Today I bought some water. During the small-talk with a new (to me) janitor, I was asked "Where are you from?". After replying, I threw the question back, but didn't quite expect the response. "I'm from Pakistan, but I'm not a terrorist!" :-) -- Why, of course not! I said after laughing a little. Whether it was a joke or not, I am not certain (well, I do believe the statement, but if it was said as a joke.. well you know what I mean).
It made me think though, how stereotyped some people may feel within society, all the while not being too different from you or me - because we are still human. So here's my question for you today, why not have the courage to face the things you don't know without typing in stereo or having an attitude of prejudice? Patiently learning to find the good.
