What if Malaysia?

"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." - Albert Einstein.

What a strange life it would be, if in the same time we were young and old, bored and excited, strong and exhausted or poor and rich. What would be our dreams or aims? What would be our actions and decisions? And what if my whole stay in Malaysia would last only one day? What if?

http://www.dreamyear.no/2013/12/what-if-malaysia.html

I would wake up early morning in Cameron Highlands, hike up the hills covered with beautiful tea plantations and sit on the edge of the hill with a cup of tea in my hand.
I would eat breakfast in one of hundreds restaurants in Georgetown surrounded by amazing street art.

I would try rafting in the middle of jungle at Selangor or Slim rivers.

I would take a bus to Malacca, visit European heritage sites and floating mosque there taking in the meantime some local snacks from the corner restaurants famous for their fusion cuisine.

I would go to Kuala Lumpur to do my work in the amazing skyscrapers with the international and multicultural staff.

I would come back to our amazing penthouse on the 30th floor to change my clothes and relax after work in the swimming pool.

I would drive spontaneously with my boss to the National Stadium to watch a football game between Malaysia and Barcelona, buying tickets 3 minutes before the first whistle.

I would explore enormous shopping malls trying to find some good camera for my journeys.

I would take a train and visit Batu Caves with the Hindu Murugan statue and dozens of monkeys jumping over thousands of pilgrims who are climbing up the hundreds of stairs.

I would return to Jalan Alor for delicious dinner in local restaurants with red Chinese lanterns hanging above the street.

I would visit KL Tower and Petronas Tower to have amazing view over the city.

I would go with my friends on the top of skyscraper in the middle of city, sit on the real helipad watching sunset and lightnings on the horizon.

I would take a jacket to the cinema to no freeze to death there.

I would drive with my friend to Reagge Bar to chill out with a glass of beer in my hand trying to hit on the girls without any success.

I would dance whole night in one of the clubs in downtown.

I would go to two Indian guys at the corner of The Little India to buy food for next day.

I would definitely not send Durian fruit to my friends and I would not call myself ‘Pepek’ taking to Malay friends due to potential language misunderstandings! That’s for sure!

And what if all that it’s true, just didn’t happen at once? What if those were 3 months of my Dream Year in Malaysia but I feel like all that happened within one day? What if I come back there one day? Well… there is no ‘if”, I simply will!
